CURRENT POSITIONS AVAILABLE

DEVELOPMENT MANAGER: Full time salaried position reports directly to the CEO. Requires some evening and weekend hours as necessary for representing the agency and for project coordination. Position will be effective on May 1, 2012.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate and execute fundraising events, soliciting event sponsors and donors, and working with other departmental staff or outside organizations. Research funding opportunities, writing grant proposals and requests for proposals, preparation and coordination of all monitoring, reporting, and compliance activities. Responsible for coordinating multiple year events and the ability to expand on existing activities

Qualifications: Grant writing and event planning experience. Not for profit experience preferred. Must be self-starter, dependable, organized, and resourceful and have the ability to multi-task. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and have the ability to look at the large picture and envision multiple ways of achieving funding goals. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years' experience in managing projects and/or proposal and grant writing.

DIRECT CARE STAFF

  • Full Time in Sturbridge – Overnight Awake includes weekend hours
  • Full Time in Leicester – Evenings and Weekends
  • Part Time (30-32 hours per week) in Mansfield – Evenings and Weekends
  • Part Time (29 hours per week) in Worcester – Must be available all day Sunday

Must be reliable, have strong communications skills and be a team player. Will be responsible for providing supportive services to adults with developmental disabilities in all aspects of daily living. Must be available to work weekends, afternoons, nights, and holidays. Minimum requirements include valid driver's license, daily use of car onsite, high school diploma/GED. Having CPR, First Aid and MAP certifications is a plus and will result in starting at the higher rate!
