Day Habilitation Program

The new RRI Day Habilitation Program opened in Spring 2006. The program provides educational and recreational opportunities to people with developmental disabilities in a stimulating environment. Following are some of the opportunities available for individuals that will be participating in the day program:

  • Holiday Wreath Program - available during the holiday season

  • Balloon Bouquets and Gift Baskets

  • Tropical Themed Stimulating Environment

  • State of the Art Equipment

  • Sensory Room

  • Horticulture Programs

  • Cooking, Computer, Scrapbooking, Yoga & Woodworking Classes

  • Art Emersion

  • YMCA Memberships

  • Outdoor Adventure Activities

  • Operate and Create Items for Day Program Store

  • Special Serviced Provided to Individuals with Increased Medical Concerns

  • Nurse & Occupational, Physical & Speech Therapists

  • Adaptive Equipment to Accommodate Special Needs

Individuals will select the activities of their choice based on their own areas of interest.

Recycling Program

Please be sure to donate your used ink cartridges and cell phones to the RRI day program. They will be collecting them and donating them to the Second Chance Animal Shelter in East Brookfield to benefit their shelter efforts. They are also collecting new or used towels and blankets. Items can be dropped off at the RRI Administrative Office.

RRI Day Program CARF Certified

The Rehabilitative Resources Inc. (RRI) Community Day Program has been awarded a three year accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). CARF is a private, not-for-profit organization that promotes quality rehabilitation services. It does this by establishing standards of quality for organizations to use as guidelines in developing and offering their programs or services to consumers. CARF uses the standards to determine how well an organization is serving its consumers and how it can improve.  Every year the standards are reviewed and new ones are developed to keep pace with changing conditions and current consumer needs.

The CARF accreditation letter states “This achievement is an indication of your organization’s dedication and commitment to improving the quality of the lives of the persons served. Services, personnel, and documentation clearly indicate an established pattern of practice excellence.”
